What's new for 2017.
The 2017 Nissan Rogue receives a significant mid-cycle refresh, introducing a more aggressive exterior design and the first-ever Rogue Hybrid model. The exterior is updated with a meatier 'V-Motion' grille, edgier headlights, and 'boomerang' taillights that align it with the rest of the Nissan SUV lineup. Inside, the cabin benefits from additional sound insulation and a new flat-bottom steering wheel, along with updated finishers and seat fabrics.
Technological and safety enhancements are a major focus for this year. Nissan introduces an available Motion Activated Liftgate and a suite of Intelligent Safety Shield technologies, including Intelligent Cruise Control and Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. A new Midnight Edition package offers blacked-out styling elements, while the Platinum Reserve Interior package adds premium tan leather with quilted inserts for a more luxurious feel.

- Standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine continues with 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque.
Safety
- New available Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.
- Introduction of Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) and Lane Departure Prevention.
