What's new for 2013.
The 2013 model year introduces a complete ground-up redesign, launching the fifth-generation Altima. The new sedan is lighter, more aerodynamic, and features a more premium exterior and interior design. A major highlight is the introduction of NASA-inspired 'Zero Gravity' front seats designed to reduce fatigue. The powertrain is overhauled with a redesigned 2.5-liter engine and a next-generation Xtronic CVT, resulting in a class-leading 38 mpg highway rating. The Altima Coupe is reduced to a single 2.5 S trim level and loses its V6 option.
