What's new for 2019.

The 2019 model year marks the debut of the all-new sixth-generation Altima. This redesign introduces two major firsts for the nameplate: the availability of Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) and the world's first production Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) engine, which replaces the previous V6. The exterior features a much more aggressive and lower profile, while the interior is completely modernized with a standard 8-inch floating touchscreen. ProPILOT Assist is also introduced as a key driver-assistance feature.

Powertrain

  • Introduction of the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine producing up to 248 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque.
  • First-time availability of Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) on 2.5L models.
  • New 2.5-liter direct-injection 4-cylinder engine.

  • Standard 8-inch multi-touch color display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • Introduction of ProPILOT Assist for semi-autonomous highway driving.
  • Standard Rear Automatic Braking on SV trims and above.

Exterior

  • Complete redesign with a lower, wider, and longer stance.
  • Standard LED headlights on SR and above.
