What's new for 2024.
The 2024 model year marks the debut of the third-generation Subaru Crosstrek, representing a complete ground-up redesign of the popular subcompact SUV. This new generation focuses on refinement, technology, and structural integrity. The chassis has been re-engineered to be 10% stiffer, which, combined with improved sound-dampening materials and new engine mounts, significantly reduces cabin noise and vibration. A major shift in the lineup is the discontinuation of the manual transmission, with all models now featuring a refined Lineartronic CVT as standard equipment. The interior receives a massive technological upgrade with the introduction of an available 11.6-inch vertical touchscreen that replaces the previous dual-screen setup. Safety is also enhanced through the latest version of Subaru's EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, which now includes a third wide-angle mono camera to better detect pedestrians and cyclists at intersections. Later in the model year, the rugged Wilderness trim was introduced, offering increased ground clearance and off-road specific tuning.
