What's new for 2006.
Subaru introduces another styling update for 2006, known as the 'Hawkeye' look, featuring a new three-section mesh grille inspired by Subaru's aviation roots. The 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine is upgraded with the i-Active Valve Lift System, increasing output to 173 hp. The WRX model's engine displacement increases from 2.0 to 2.5 liters, resulting in 230 hp and significantly improved low-end torque. Safety is enhanced with the addition of a standard driver's side knee airbag.
